What began as a simple dream in 2019 has grown into something truly special. JJ Fox’s Treehouse was inspired by our time at home with our youngest child. Like many families, we loved visiting parks—but quickly realized the challenges: morning dew, unpredictable Florida rain, intense heat, and the ever-changing nap schedule.
We imagined a space where kids could explore, climb, and play freely—no matter the weather. With the creativity of our own children and the support of our family, that dream became a reality.
JJ Fox’s Treehouse is a labor of love, built with care and designed for joy. When you walk through our doors with your little ones, we hope you feel the same excitement and wonder that inspired us to create it.

We would try to play at parks and noticed there were so many obstacles. Morning dew, afternoon naps, Florida rain, and blistering sun. It took a few years, but with the help of our kids, JJ Fox was born. We hope you feel the excitement when you enter with your little critters. This is truly a labor of love from our family to yours. My name is Kim Friday, and I am a proud mother of two boys, happily married to a supportive and wonderful husband.
After attending the University of Florida, I pursued my passion for coaching gymnastics, which I began at the age of 14. I advanced to leadership positions, eventually becoming the program director for the gymnastics department at North Central Florida YMCA. After moving for family reasons, I joined South Florida Gymnastics as a coach and worked my way up to Program Director by 2013. During my over five years in this role, I developed essential business management skills, including program development, HR, budgeting, maintenance, customer service, child development, and staff training. In 2019, I chose to focus on my children full-time as a stay-at-home mom.
Transitioning from gymnastics, joined Quality Fresca, franchise owner of Moe’s Southwest Grill locations, as their catering administrator. In this role, I managed staff training, oversaw daily orders, and facilitate communication with customers. My responsibilities include ensuring smooth order fulfillment, logistics of drivers and deliveries, accurate payments, and effective staff training. I also collaborate with our accounting team, assisting with daily transactions, payment management, and ensuring all stores accurately account for their sales, products, and labor.
With 30 years of diverse experience in recreational and food industries, I am eager to channel my skills into my own business venture. I am deeply committed to excellence and passionate about children's development, backed by strong problem-solving abilities, a solid work ethic, and resilience. By leveraging my accomplishments in child development, business growth, and team building, I bring a wealth of expertise to JJ Fox’s Treehouse, LLC.
My vision for JJ Fox’s Treehouse, LLC is to create a safe and imaginative environment where children can learn, play, and explore. Drawing on my experience in recreational sports, I am dedicated to positioning JJ Fox’s Treehouse, LLC at the forefront of the children's entertainment industry.
